Both of these technologys are being smuggled and sold illegealy. Many poeple have been charged alot of money for doing this. Both are harming society by using them illegaly. Copyright is both illegal and wrong to do and have many concequences.

Vocabulary

freeware- Complete and functional software that does not require payment or other compensation (such as nags or advertising) for its use. Freeware may be a proprietary license with no access to the source code. examples are Google Chrome and Adobe Flash Player.

shareware- Software that is available free of charge; may be distributed for evaluation with a fee requested for additional features or a manual etc. Examples are vokie and adobe reader.

open source- To release the source code of; Of, or relating to a product which is licensed to permit modifications and redistribution of its source code. yes i use it. Examples is picnik.

commercial software- Commercial software, or less commonly, payware, is computer software that is produced for sale or that serves commercial purposes. Examples are Manager Plus Pro and Raisers Edge

Snow Day

On 1/12/11 we had a snow day! On this awesome snow day i dident get to sleep in. instead i baby sat my brothers while my mom went to her school. After that i played some COD on Xbox with my friend. Then we played some zombies. After he left i played some GTA and had alot of fun.Then i ate dinner, it was good. Finnaly after all that my girlfriend came over and we watched movies and hung out for the rest of the day. After she left i went to bed.

Gabrielle Gifford

Gabrielle Gifford has got shot in the head while talking with the public about political ideas. This could later change america in many ways. One idea of this changing america is not letting important congressmen like Gabrielle Gifford go out to public again to talk about things with the public. Another way it could change is we have lost a member of our congress and will have to try and replace her if she cannot attend to her job again.

Pittsburgh Steelers 35, Oakland Raiders 3
 The Steelers completely dominated this football game.  Ben Roethlisberger completed 18 of 29 passes for 275 yards with 3 TD passes and 0 INTs.  He also carried the ball 3 times for 55 yards with a TD run.  Roethlisberger was taunting Raiders DE Richard Seymour after a TD  and Seymour whacked “Little Ben” in the chin with a open hand and he went down like a ton of bricks.  Seymour was only fined $25,000 bucks but he was ejected from the game.  If Seymour pulled this against any other QB in the NFL he would have been suspended.


Pittsburgh Steelers 19, Buffalo Bills 16
The Steelers got really lucky to win this game in over time Steve Johnson burnt the Steelers’ secondary deep in over time but he dropped a ball in the end zone that hit both of his hands giving the Steelers new life.  Then with 2:14 left in the over time period, kicker Shaun Suisham nailed a 41-yard field goal to give the Steelers a big win on the road.  Ben Roethlisberger was okay in this game as he completed 20 of 33 passes for 246 yards with 0 TD passes and 0 INTs.  He also carried the ball 1 time for 18 yards yesterday. The Steelers finished up with 206 yards rushing on 45 carries and they also completed 20 of 33 passes for 220 yards as they had the ball for 45:23 of this game which was 18 minutes more than the Bills had the ball.


Pittsburgh Steelers 13, Baltimore Ravens 10
The Steelers won this game with defense as the offense was pretty much non-existant.  Troy Polamalu forced a fumble hitting Joe Flacco on the blitz which LB LaMarr Woodley covered to set up the Steelers’ winning TD drive in the 4th quarter.Ben Roethlisberger got his nose broke on the first pass play of the game for the Steelers last night.  He played with a lot of grit last night despite not playing especially well.  Roethlisberger completed 22 of 38 passes for 253 yards with 1 TD pass and 1 INT last night.The Steelers are now 9-3 on the season and they are sitting atop of the AFC North.


Pittsburgh Steelers 23, Cincinnati Bengals 7
The Pittsburgh Steelers won this game with  defense yesterday as the offense only scored 9 points.Safety Troy Polamalu also had a great game with 2  tackles, 2 passes defensed and 2 interceptions (one that he returned 45 yards for a TD).  Ben Roethlisberger didn’t have his best game as he completed 21 of 33 passes for 258 yards with 0 TD passes and 0 INTs.  He also carried the ball 3 times for 23 yards (7.7 ypc) yesterday.The Steelers are now 10-3 on the season.


Resting Troy Polamalu?
The Steelers will be without 29-year old Troy Polamalu tomorrow due to a Achilles problem.  They are considering possibly shutting him down until the playoffs start in an effort to get him healthy.  Polamalu has played in 13 games for the Steelers so far this season and he has 62 tackles, 1 sack, 5 tackles for a loss, 10 passes defensed, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery and 6 interceptions (0ne of which he returned for a TD).  This is a huge blow to the Steelers’ D the rest of the regular season because Polamalu is a impact player every single week that he suits up.


Newyork Jets 22, Pittsburgh Steelers 17
This game started out badly for the Steelers when Brad Smith of the Jets returned the opening kickoff 97 yards for a TD!  The Steelers just couldn’t make a big play when they needed one in this game and they wasted a solid effort by the D.  Ben Roethlisberger completed 23 of 44 passes for 264 yards with 1 TD pass and 0 INTs.  He also carried the ball 2 times for 25 yards in this game.  Roethlisberger just couldn’t make a big throw when it came down to it at the end of the game. The Steelers finished up with 147 yards rushing on 25 carries and they also completed 23 of 44 passes for 231 yards.


Pittsbuurgh Steelers 27, Carolina Panthers 3
The Steelers had a walk in the park against the Panthers tonight.  Ben Roethlisberger was right on the mark most of the night as he completed 22 of 32 passes for 320 yards with 1 TD pass and 0 INTs.  He also carried the ball 6 times for 2 yards but he scored a TD. Isaac Redman pitched in with 43 yards on 5 carries against the Panthers.  Mike Wallace, Heath Miller,  and  Emmanuel Sanders led the way for the Steelers in the passing game.  The Steelers finished up with 115 yards rushing on 33 carries and they also completed 22 of 32 passes for 293 yards as they had possession of the ball for 35:24!
The defense was outstanding for the Steelers in this game.The Panthers finished up with 74 yards rushing on 22 carries and they also completed 10 of 23 passes for 45 yards.  The Steelers are now 11-4 on the season.

Ben Roethlisberger was very sharp in this game as he completed 15 of 22 passes for 280 yards with 2 TD passes, he also carried the ball 4 times for 24 yards in this game.The Steelers finished up with 100 yards rushing on 30 carries and they also completed 21 of 30 passes for 318 yards as they had possession of the ball for 33:14. The Steelers finished the 2010 season with a 12-4 record and the second seed in the AFC Playoffs as the AFC North Champions
